This past week I fled from the smokey air due to Canyon 2 Fire in Orange County and met up with an old friend in San Diego. For most of day I spent time at the beach doodling the waves crashing before me at Ocean Beach. It ended up being really informative and helped spark the creative bug for my next sculpture. I have had great intriuge in ways of visualizing the Pacific Garbage Patch that is drifting not as far as you would think off our coastline. I look forward to where this takes me next!
